Travis,
I noticed the hometown listed for Stan Meserve. What is Stan doing in Mooreville, NC? Is he working some capacity for a race team? I think at one time he worked for Craven's Busch team.
Thanks
Stan has been working at DEI for a few years now.
Stan has been in NC for almost 10 years now most of which was at DEI. Mr. Farrar should get away from OPS once in awhile to see the real world.
I knew Stan was in NC, didnt know if he still held a position with a team. I'm not an insider, so I didnt know what he was up to. Thanks for the answer and the sarcasm, I thought it was funny.
Just wondering, would any of the following qualify for trips to the "real world" in your eyes?
The Texas Cup race in April? That was a cool trip.
Legion Speedway in New Hampshire while camping this summer? (Note - That speedway is run by an American Legion post, interesting arraingment). How about the Friday in July at NHIS watching Joey Logano race through the BES field? A Thursday Thunder event at the Ridge, does that count? That's more than my trips to OPS in the last 2 years. So I guess I dont understand where you coming from.
Stan is actually retired, he's no longer working for DEI, but still lives in NC
